So today is Saturday and it has been one lazyyyyy day
Cold dominos pizza for breakfast, a nice long shower, a bit of tidying and now Desperate Housewives series 3 with my housemate Kristie
Oh and a glass of Disaronno and Lemonade… wait my 3rd glass
This is the life of a student eh!
I have really enjoyed University so far as I say and I think I’ve made some life long friends. I did need to get away from Maidstone there’s too much that happened there, I needed a new start.
That’s exactly what’s happened here in Wycombe.
Yeah it’s not the most amazing town in the world it’s quite small but I quite like it. Plus unlike Maidstone it has a Starbucks and this one happens to be quite big
ok 4th glass of Disaronno now.
So what does Wycombe actually have in it?
Well…
There’s the chair museum. I’ve not been there…..yet. When there’s nothing to do I think that’s something me and Kristie will casually walk on down to…
Eden Centre- That’s basically the shopping centre. There’s Topshop, River Island and House of Fraser there so I’m alright
Cineworld- The name gives it away.
AMF Bowling- again the name gives it away…
Pure & Life On Mars- Wycombes only night club. Imagine Liquid and Envy in Maidstone. More run down (back to the Ikon days) and practically dead. The only nights it’s really busy is Monday (student night) where you can get a double vodka and red bull for £2.50 (it used to be £1.50
) On Fridays in Life on Mars it’s basically a cheesy middle aged play ground. Full of creepy guys. You’re not cool if you go to Pure or Life on Mars on any other day of the week except Monday. Trust me. I know.
Dominos- These guys will become your best friends and more than likely on your speed dial. When they can tell you what you want before you can tell them that’s when you know you’ve ordered too much pizza from them. Good thing is when you’re a student you get 50% off when you spend £30 and trust me. That’s not hard to do. One night we ordered £80 worth of pizza for £40. Best moment of my life telling the guy on the other end of the phone we were students. It cost us £5 each. There were 8 of us
It was AMAZING!
There’s nothing else really worth mentioning about Wycombe haha
But I do love the difference in life from mine in Maidstone. The independence is amazing. I love having my own house and having to do my own stuff.
It’s amazing
I shall obviously keep posted on what’s happening
